Five months ago I posted a photo
of a house I thought we might buy
in Springfield and of course, it sold,
but I think this one would be just 
as nice and just the right size 
for the two of us--and 
it has a bird feeder in the back yard.

so we won't forget,

I might be making millions of dollars
like Very Bradley,
creating totes of bright colored
quilted material 
that makes people smile.

I hope the St. Joseph statue,
buried under the For Sale 
sign at 404 W L Street
in Aurora, Nebraska
actually makes a 
difference today,
because I found a 
house I really like 
here in Springfield, 
Missouri, and I am 
ready to be in a real 
house,  surrounded 
by my worldly comforts.

Tea Bar and Bites
is quickly becoming one 
of my favorite places,
lunch today,
lavendar tea,
tuna salad on greens,
and tomato and 
black bean soup.
Although it was difficult, 
I passed up a delectable 
looking piece of 
chocolate cake.

Tonight, I wish I had 

someone with whom I could

play a wicked game of Scrabble,

missing my Dad, the master player

and thinking of him on Mom and

Dad's 59th Anniversary, or so 

it could have been,

called Mom this morning; 

she was getting ready for yet another

funeral, something those who live a long

life usually do.

Round three,
antibiotics,
since the second week
of school,
this time, little sleep,
and anxiety contemplating
an IV since this infection
just won't go away.
Today, a new drug,
lots of water,
and peaceful, painless sleep.
