Today, finally, after a
ten year self-imposed exile from
the music of Hank Williams,
I listened to my dad's
favorite singer,
songs on YouTube,
original broadcasts
from the Grand Ole Opry,
"Your Cheatin' Heart,"
"Hey, Good-Looking,"
"Cold, Cold Heart,"
"I Saw the Light," and
"I'll Fly Away,"
and I cried and cried,
because this afternoon,
Dad reminded me, "God is with you."
