Sometimes I miss my teacher
desk at Aurora High School,
a mess of photos and trinkets
collected over the years,
a hodgepodge of memories,
sifting through my mind,
a cup bought at a garage sale
in Charles City, Iowa and a
Power Puff girl, Bubbles
peeking out from the great mug
of Catherine.
