I should have posted this
on 9/11, especially after
visiting the memorial this summer,
the editorial cartoon cropped,
without the NYC skyline
in the background,
cut out of the local newspaper,
only a few days after,
when missing poster signs
were everywhere,
lives lost, the silence of
our friends,
deafening.
